Contest Rules

The Aria Scavenger Hunt begins on April 3, 2024, at 15:00 CEST (GMT+2), and ends on April 22, 2024, at 23:59 CEST (GMT+2). Participation is open between these dates and times only. Submissions outside of this window will not be accepted.

To participate, you must create an Aria account. Clues will only be distributed through Aria every second day, beginning on the start date of the Aria Scavenger Hunt. Ask Aria for the clues using this prompt: “Hello Aria! Could you provide today's clue for the Aria Scavenger Hunt?”

Upon receiving a clue, you must solve it and then verify the answer with Aria. Once Aria confirms that your answer is correct, you must submit the answer through the form on the Aria Scavenger Hunt website.

You'll be required to provide the user ID and email address associated with your Aria account, along with your answer. Only one account is allowed per participant. Creating multiple accounts to submit more than one answer is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

The timeliness of your answer submission, from the moment the clue is released until your correct answer is submitted, will determine if you are a winner. Every five days, two winners will be chosen for that period. The winners will be the two people who gave the correct answer in the shortest amount of time.

In order to win any of the final prizes at the end of the contest, you must provide the correct answers to each of the ten clues throughout the contest. The winners of the final prizes will be determined by the aggregated time it took for them to provide the correct answers.

The easter egg prizes are bonuses, and are not necessary in order to win a 5-day prize or final prize.

What types of prizes are available in the Aria Scavenger Hunt?

Participants in the Aria Scavenger Hunt have the opportunity to win both cash prizes and Amazon Gift Cards.

How often will prizes be distributed?

Every 5 days throughout the contest, the top two winners for that period will each receive $500 cash, which will be distributed at the end of the contest.

On April 23, the top 20 winners for the entire duration of the contest will be determined. These winners will be awarded as follows:

The 1st place winner will receive a grand prize of $4,000 cash.
2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will each receive $1,000 cash.
5th-10th place winners will each receive $500 cash.
11th-20th place winners will each receive a $200 Amazon Gift Card.
The top four who discover the easter eggs, will each receive $1,000 cash.

How will the winners be determined?

Timing is key! A new clue is available every second day of the contest, at 15:00 CEST (GMT+2). The quicker you submit the correct answer after the clue is released, the better your chance of winning.

The cash prizes are a reward for those who go above and beyond in their scavenger hunt exploration and manage to uncover these secrets on their own. Winning an easter egg prize is not necessary in order to win a 5-day prize or final prize.

Do I have to choose between cash prizes and Amazon vouchers?

No, participants are eligible to win both cash prizes and Amazon vouchers. Your ability to win is based on your performance and discoveries throughout the scavenger hunt. We encourage participants to engage fully with the event for the best chance to win both types of rewards.

Can I enter multiple submissions?

No, you can only submit an answer once for each clue. Participants are not allowed to create multiple emails or user IDs to submit more than one answer per clue, and doing so will result in disqualification. The intention behind this rule is to prevent spamming in the rankings and ensure that each participant has an equal opportunity to compete. Our system actively monitors for suspicious behavior, including the use of multiple accounts by a single participant. We have measures in place to identify and investigate such activities.
